William W. Price, P.A. will open a claim with the insurance carrier and provide all necessary documentation for the adjuster to properly evaluate your claim and offer settlement of your claim without the necessity of filing a lawsuit. The filing of a lawsuit is discussed with the client should the insurance carrier fail to property evaluate and value the claim.

The property damage portion of the policy from the person who caused the accident will evaluate the damage sustained to your vehicle and pay to fix your vehicle or pay for the total loss of your vehicle without the necessity of you paying your deductible. Should the person who caused the accident not have property damage coverage, your personal vehicle insurance’s property damage policy will pay for your repairs and/or value of your total loss.

Rental reimbursement when you are involved in an accident depends on the rental coverage on your personal vehicle insurance policy. However, should you not have rental coverage on your policy, William W. Price, P.A. will contact the at fault party’s automobile insurance carrier and request they cover a rental vehicle until your vehicle is repaired.
QUESTION Who pays for my medical bills?

ANSWER
The Personal Injury Protection portion of an automobile insurance policy which was in force on the date of the incident provides payment of benefits of eighty (80%) percent of all reasonable and necessary medical expenses incurred and sixty (60%) percent of loss of income or earning capacity from inability to work as a result of injury sustained from the accident. This coverage is primary for use of medical bills until the benefits exhaust. After these benefits exhaust, your health insurance is secondary for payment towards any medical bills incurred from the accident.

ANSWER
Payment to the attorney gets paid on a contingency basis. Although each settlement amount differs, the general rule is thirty-three and one-third percent (33.3%) of any recovery up to $1 million through the time of the Defendant filing an Answer or the demand for appointment of arbitrators. Forty percent (40%) of any recovery up to $1 million from the time of the Defendant filing an Answer and thereafter any time throughout the trial of the case.

After evaluation, the hospital will make a recommendation on which type of physician you need to follow up with depending on the injuries you sustained, i.e. your primary care physician or an orthopedist.
